first of all i have to update my blog for the laos trip... so today's post is about the laos trip.... let me start with day one...

day one
first i went to bukit merah took taxi to agnes's house downstairs... then we went to airport together.... we reached there around 12.30.. we were supposed to meet at 1.00 so we went to Popeyes to eat our lunch... then around 1:00 we rushed downstairs because we were almost late and we have not eat finished our french fries so in the end we packed up the french fries and straight away went down to meet them... After we met them, me and agnes sat down on the floor and ate our french fries while waiting for the rest to come and for the check in... after sometime our principal came to see the condition.... after a few minutes have passed we heard that Alfred's pasport need to renew.... so he might not able to go... then Ms Lio and Mrs Ng came to help him to renew his pasport... so they quickly rushed to Lavender to renew his pasport.. In the End, he made it to come at 3pm... after he checked in we took some picture and we headed to go into the gate.... After going through the immigration we quickly run to the gate.... Luckily we were not late... the flight was about 2 hours... when we reached there, we played around at the thai's airport... after playing around, we didn't know where to get to the plane... suddenly Mr tay called my phone.... so he said that we need to enter the gate and went downstairs..so we were running again.. luckily we didn't miss the bus to go to the plane.... we reached Vientiane which is the capital city of Laos at 8pm and straight away we headed to Novotel Hotel... this is some of the photo...

we woke up early in the morning... we departed from Vientiane to Thakek which is the province of Laos... it took us about 6 hours to arrive... When we reached, we straight away went to the university's campus at laos.. first we ate our lunch first and then we started our duty... me,amanda,agnes and geoffrey did the crowd control inside... when i saw the crowd, it really amazed me... so many people that willing to stay under the hot sun just to get a pair of spectacles... i did crowd control for three days and it was really tiring.... i have to stand from 8 am to 12.30 sometimes even 1.00 to do the crowd control... after lunch time then i get to do some job inside... the fourth and the fifth day was the best experiences... on the fourth day i did the eye drop until around afternoon... after that i got the chance to do the checking degree by the machine that most optic's shop have it to check the degree... i really gain new experience using that machine and i would never experience it again... it was so interesting to check people's degree by using that machine.... the machine works like this... the patient has to look at the small hole on the machine and inside the hole, there was picture of small red house.... i have to find the small dot and pressed the button on the controller... the degree of the patient's eye would appear... if i was not wrong the machine called auto-refraction... the fifth day i did some packing of the spectacles that needed to send to Savanahkhet which is another province of Laos.. we served around 16000 people for both provinces including the cataract operation.... this is some of the pictures..

The time we only could relax was during dinner but dinner time is the most fun and exciting time.. The time we know the people from other country better.... it also called bonding time....Our dinner restaurant was always the same for 4 days in laos but the food was different.. the first day we had fried rice with meats and vege.... when i was sitting down togther with miss wu, Sarah and the people from us sitting down together we had a lot of fun.. one of them i was telling us jokes.. which is really damn funny especially when he was talking about rooster... Lol... second day we had bbq at the same restaurant but this time round me and sarah sat with different person but we also with miss poli and she also always talk about jokes but the people were not as humurous as the people who i sat with on the first day.. third day we had special dinner with the auction... we had special food... On that day was also jason's bday... he came from China.... the things that they sold for auction was so interesting but i did not buy anything because some of the stuff were quite expensive..... The fourth day was our last day for our mission so duirng dinner time we had celebration together with the local people in laos that helped us in the mission... after dinner we did dancing with the rest of the prefects... we kept on pulling one another to came up and dance.. we really had a fun time.. on that day was also another person's bday but i had forgotten her name...so we celebrated for her again.... we headed back to hotel at around 9pm...

Third Last day
during the third last day, i went back to vientiane... it took us around 6 hours again to arrive.... i could not fell asleep.. so i just listen to my mp3 and tried to sleep but i can't sleep.. i tried with different position but i still can't sleep so i shifted to the back of the bus and tried to sleep but i still could not sleep... so in the end listened to my mp3 and laid down at the back of the bus.... when i reached Novotel Hotel i started to feel that i am not well but in the i drank cryshantemum tea and panadol....after that i went to the orphanage... when i went and saw them i felt very sad... most of them could not see.. it really felt touched when i saw them especially when i thought back that i did not appreciate a lot of stuff that i got.... they sang a lot of songs for us... we gave our used clothes, candies and some other stuffs.... we also did balloon sculpturing and made it to certain shape and gave it to them.... after they performing we went to perform.. at first we planned to sing if we hold on togehter but when we sang that song it was rather unsuccesful so we sang our own school song for the perfomance.... after the performance we talked to the teacher for a while and we go to the places of attraction.. we went to the temple there... it was amaizing when i saw the temple because it was different from the temple in Singapore or Indonesia.. me and alfred went in for awhile to pray... then we took some pictures and we headed back to the hotel... we ate our dinner beside the hotel... it was chinese restaurant.... the food taste quite good but there were some food that it taste really awful.... after dinner we saw firework to commemorate the birthday of their country's prince... then we headed to chinatown to take a looked their chinatown... i started not feeling well again... i felt my body was really cold but i still follow them until they stopped at the italian restaurant and i could not bear with it anymore.. my was really cold so borrowed kimberly's jacket... thanks Kimberly for lending ur jacket.... then they bought pizza and prata... then we headed back to our hotel and went to miss wu's room for reflection and debrief.... after that we went back to our room to sleep... this is some of the photos....

the second last day
the second last day we went to thailand.... we reached at about 12pm.. we straight away went to the hotel and put our stuff... when we reached Thailand we were excited because the hotel was much more better than Laos... after that we went to eat our lunch.. the restaurant that they brought us was inside the guiness book of record..
the food taste much more better than the food in laos..after our lunch we went to Mabukong to do our SHOPPING!!!!!! the things in Mabukong quite cheap so we bought a lot of stuff..... we shopped for very long time.. after we went for shopping, we met Samuel at Mabukong..... then we headed for dinner... when on the way for dinner, i saw someone looks so familiar and she was miss poli... she really have with us.. when in laos she was saying that if we met in thailand, we really have faith and we really met in thailand.. so we went to eat together and went for dinner together... after dinner we went to the night market until it was around 10 pm and most of us already very very tired... so we went to take our shower... we planned to had party but Miss wu went for massage so in the end, we had our own party but it didn't last long.. some of them have their pillow fight while me and Kimberly started to fall asleep...after sometime we went back to our room to sleep because we could not bear already... this is some of the photos...

last day
this was the last day for the whole GOS trip... after our breakfast we went to the airport to go back to spore.... we were almost late again so we started to run again.. we were late because some of them stuck at the immigration counter due to the long queue.... eventhough we were almost late, me and janine still could bought soft toys for ourself.... LOL... so the end of the whole GOS Trip.. i have really gain a lot of experiences and the fun time that i had with all of you was amaizing... i hope u all will always remember this trip.... i really had great experiences through this trip..... there will be more photos showing up....
